Looking good,

as for removing the CD changer,
you can remove it and then buy a dash pocked and trim from the dealers for £20 for both = OEM parts.

if you want a pic, i can take one and upload ?

If you get rid of the CD changer any chance I can have the cable that plugs in the back of the head unit and then attaches to the multichanger lead? PM me ;)

hi pal, i will do this tomorrow with pics.

and i do have the part numbers on the receipts, will dig it out.

pic borrowed from another user on here.

storage box - e1m08686591UQ - £10.67

the trim is only needed in some cars apparently.
you should be able to see if you have this or not anyway.

mine was a my04/5 and i needed it.

trim - e1m28575051UQ - £6.32

total inc vat was £20.39 for both.

cheers, beast

Many thanks, beast. Ill get the bits ordered up!

Fitted my Poly-Bushed arms tonight, with fresh ball joints. Upon initial driving the car now appears to track perfectly straight, rather than slightly right as befor and the whole front end feels tighter. Will still need to get it booked in for alignment soon though.

No pictures of tonight's work but you can all imagine what it looks like I'm sure!

Once the TIP was all fitted went for a test drive and it logged an extra 6bhp since last time, which wasn't as much as I had expected but I think that's due to a poor map and the fact that I have a boost leak somewhere, which I've not located yet.

No pictures of the finished article yet because I've got a bit of tarting up to do before its worth photos!

On Friday I ordered a cruise control retrofit kit, which surprisingly arrived on the Saturday.

Started fitting it on Saturday afternoon and ended up not being able to come home as I ran out of daylight!

Not a particularly hard job, just fiddly in places, worth it though, I'd been missing my cruise control!

Made this, it seemed quite apt:

Looked nice but darker would have suited it.
plus you need to be real low to pull them off!

Those wheels look superb on it. I've always wondered what the LCR would look like with them on. They need to be 19s tho. How did they go on tho as I thought the BBS rims were 5x112 fitment.

New tyres arrived and fitted on Thursday, went for Goodyear Eagle F1's and although they're still bedding in I'm impressed with them so far.

While down at Ultimate Dubs I ordered a pile of Forge Motorsport silicone hoses, they arrived through the week aswell but just waiting on hose clips to get them fitted.

Besides that, I'm getting limp mode quite reguarly at the moment, along with an intermittant 17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!) fault code. I cant decide if it's an overboost problem, or a split hose somewhere along the line. Once the new hoses are fitted I'll hopefully be able to at least rule that out.

Bought a Dodo Juice Yeti down at UD aswell and tried it out last night, also removed the L E O N badging from the bootlid, sadly no pictures in this update :(
