I have a 1.8tsi 2011 Leon and I don't like the gear knob. I had a go in a cupra with a cupra gear knob but didn't like that either.
Does anyone know if the gear knobs from the fast audi models (S or RS) or the one from the mk6 gti will fit ?
Or maybe a quality aftermarket knob?

All Golf Mk5/6 platforms use the same gearknob fitting.

I've currently got a nice Audi TT-RS one fitted that I picked up for a right bargain (Leather round the bottom half, red strip then proper aluminium top)

A lot of the Mk5 Golf guys go for the Mk6 GTi versions, but new they are £££ !

Easy to change! You just need to remove the old one-use VW jubilee circlip when you take the old great knob off which will then need replacing with another small clip. I used a small fuel pipe style jubilee clip.

I have to say the TT RS gearknob looks a perfect match for my Leon's interior

Easy to change!

Not that easy since load of diy enthousiast break the chrome surround around the leather. Patience, some heat (don't do plastics when it's cold) and a creditcard will do the trick.

The TT RS gear knob is over 250$ on eBay! That is stupid money.
Where did you get yours?

Pure luck on Ebay, a 7000 mile TTRS met its maker, there wasn't a lot left apparently !!!!

So he had it up for about £80, tried my luck at £50 and £5 postage !

And won it ! It looked brand new and even came with the leather gaiter and lower round bolt on metal surround trim !
