just wanting to replace the sidelights, have got xenons, and think the yellow sidelights look crappy. dont think i wanna pay £80 for the piaa ones, anymore cheaper nice looking options?

Then go to the last two pages for info and a bit of a guide on fitting them.
They are not direct plug and play, they need resistors, but finding them proved harder than we first though.
So the cheap solution is to connect up your standard bulbs inline, and locate them in the engine bay.
If you plug them straight in, the car will think they have blown and cut the power, because the LEDs draw less power.

I think they're quite bright without the laserlike pointing effect you get with the LED's.
My main points though were ease of use and price.
It an alternative to the LED's and they're still working *knocking on wood*
Agree, perfect colour match but not very bright. Prob better off going commando and not having any side lights

the W5W are sidelight bulbs, I remember though that these used to be not that white?!
Sorrie I'm abit hung over what I ment is what is the fitament for the dipped beams?
H7 is the size for main light. Best normal bulbs are Philips Xtreme and Osram Nightbreaker.
One sidenote here because they are highly strung they don't last as long as the normals, but light is WAY better!

still not any closer to ordering some lights! really not fussed about them being any brighter, just want them to be a nicer colour match to the xenon main lights!?
