Evening all. My 2010 FR washer jets spray 90% at the base of the screen. I’ve tried to adjust them but can’t seem to work out how. Are they knackered or is there someone that can “point me in the right direction”? Apologies for the crap joke.

They might be gummed up inside. Also check if there's any 1-way/non-return valves in the washer fluid line.

They can can get clogged up and massively impede the flow of washer fluid.

I get plenty of fluid through them so that’s no issue and if I’m honest I’ve put up with it for the past 7 years but I’ve got to the point where it’s starting to bug me now. Nothing worse than salty motorway spray only clearing from the bottom of the screen on one side. Passenger side sprays fine. Nice and wide and covers the left side of the screen. Drivers side just squirts at the bottom so needs adjusting up the screen. Tried the 1mm Allen key fix that I’ve seen on another post but can’t seem to budge it.

Update on this thread from a while ago, I found a split in the pipe yesterday just under the bonnet hinge drivers side. Obviously age related and wear and tear as the car is 15 years old now. Temp fix as I’m away was to wrap some duct tape round the split till I get home and it’s like having a brand new washer system 🤣. Will replace the pipe once I source one so it’s not left as a bodge job. To those who have a similar issue then it’s worth checking the pipes before replacing the nozzles as they aren’t that cheap.
