water in footwells

Hi everyone, just joined due to purchase of seat leon that now resembles a swimming pool in rear footwells and front driver side. Have seen on the site that there are numerous places where they leak. I have sealed the rear doors with silicon as per the guide on this site, but problem no better. I was considering taking all the carpets out completely and trying to see if I can spot the point of entry. Has anyone else tried this? or is it better to try one thing at a time until all ideas are exhausted? If I take front seats out and disconnect battery, will radio code need to be input? This is for an 02 Leon 1.6s

Any help appreciated, or does anyone know of a good Seat dealer in south wales that can sort the problem at a reasonable price.

Labour charges for SEAT are £75 plus materials, what method did you use? are you sure its successful, also check the pollen filter.

seal all the doors as it comes in from the fronts and runs down into the rear footwells.
