Water in No.1 Cylinder...(TFSi)

On Sunday morning i had problem with lack of power in my car, plus it chugging like something from the 40's.
I have the New Shape Leon 2.0 TFSi.

Engine management light came on,so i phoned the AA out,he came out, plugged his computer in,and it told him to go straight away to No.1 Cylinder, where that was mis-firing.
On removing the Coil Stick out,he noticed and showed me that it was dripping WET????????

No.2,3 and 4 were bone dry, exactly how they should be!!!!!!!!!!!

He dried it out,put in a new coil stick, and it cured the problem, but insisted i take it back to dealers ASAP!!!!!!

I have and am awaiting theior findings.....i have bene told by various people that it sounds like either............Head Gasket has gone,or the Head itself is cracked somewhere.

This to me sounds serios problem, especially considering my car is 6 months old,and only done just over 2K miles.

Any idea's or advice on what i should do or be saying to the dealers......?

Grateful for any help.advice you can give me guys.

Thanks,Jason.

I've had the problem of damp in the connections of the coil leads, as have one or two others with FSi engines. The dealer removed and dried them (it was No.4 on mine) and sealed them back in place with silicone. No problems since.
Hope your troubles are something simple rather than serious.

I have had phone call this morning from dealers, and apparently,it is a problem a few of the Altea's have had.

The Coil Packs are faulty, with the seal on the top.

So dealer has ordered 4 complete new Coil Packs and Spark Plugs for my car,and hopefully will have it returned tomorrow with a bit of luck.

So nayone else who has an 06 Leon,i would check this out with your dealer and see what they say,cos my dealers have told me that they now have to re-call the Leon's 06 they sold and check them out also.

You've been warned here guys!!!!!

Not sure they'll recall as it's not safety - just that when they come in for any servicing / warrantee they'll fix it.
