Water in spare wheel well

I know there has been a few questions around this issue but just wanted to see if anyone has got any advice about my specific problem.
I’ve got a 2019 Leon FR and recently noticed puddles of water in the spare wheel well. It definitely isn’t running down the sides of the well as none of that is wet and it doesn’t appear to be coming in from the boot opening as I’ve sprayed water all over it without any ingress. The water seems to settle around the 4 plugs/seals (unsure what these are) but this could be because they are the lowest points in the boot.
I’m completely stumped as it seems to get wet even when it hasn’t been raining and driving on dry roads. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hummmm, when I removed the spare wheel from my older daughter's 2019 SEAT Leon Cupra, to check/adjust the spare wheel tyre pressure last month, I did find some "water" on the base of the spare wheel well, and it felt very slightly sticky. I removed as much as I could at the time with blue roll, but there was still some "appearing" from under the expanded foam insert.

Maybe I'll need to check over that area again when the weather is slightly warmer.

I didn't consider screen wash as in escaping from the rear hatch, I conveniently only considered that something had leaked down into there from maybe a de-icer spray container.

Probably not the right time of year to pull the rear hatch trim panel off!

when I worked on Flotilla/Yachts - if ever there was unexpected water found in the bilge, first thing was to taste it! to determine if it was external (salt water) or internal (fresh)
