water leak

Hello

My 98 Alhambra has started to leak a bit, the water comes through the roof lining by the clock and the passenger footwell is awash. Are there any obvious places for me to look or is it a hose job and hunt for the leak?

dont know about the leak at th eroof, but a wet passenger footwell is usually due to screenwash pipe coming off the connector behind the kick panel. worth a look

Stripped it all out and thats not the problem, water running through ok.
The wife has pushed the sill up near the footwell on a high curb I don't know if that can have an affect on things or not. Gonna get the hose out and give it a soaking the weekend.

Sorted.

There's a drain hose that comes from the sunroof and down the nearside A pillar and it had come off.

Now to dry the footwell out, any suggestions?

We had the same thing in our old MK1 Zetec Galaxy... the water seemed endless and we ended up pulling up all the passenger side carpets, jacking the back of the car up so all the water ran forward then used loads of towels to mop up and then heater directed `to feet` on full blast for a while and some moisture crystals sorted it.

Due to the problem that your 98 Alhambra suffers. Try to cope up with yourself. It is better for you to observe it rather than to gather advices.
