I have water stains on my FR passenger seat from my gym bottle leaking yesterday. What products are best and safe to use on the interior that won't leave any further marks??
Is this stain on the centre canvas bit of the seat?, because i cleaned my drivers seat after a bottle of lucozade spilled on it when i undid the cap and no matter what i use i always get some water staining i have even looked into a new seat cover but its approx £200 to change.......
try going to one of those valet cleaners and ask them how much it would be to get it out whilst not damaging your seats. Sometimes decent ones have specific upholstery cleaners which may do the job.
The only thing that comes close is autoglym stain remover but even then when the seat is dry, water stain, though strangely the staining is never in the same place its like the fabric dries at a different rate and causes damp patches that stand out by staining, the edges of the seat are fine its only the centre canvas bit that gets this on mine anyway....
spoke to one of our valeters, they say the trick isnt in the product - apparently the knack is to wet the whole cover evenly with the cleaner using a trigger spray. then a soft nailbrush followed by a damp cloth. worth a go . . . . . . . . . i bought some supagard upholstery protector off ebay, have to say its a great job and it was quite cheap.

supaguard is applied to already clean seats and carpets. i got hot chocolate spilt on my brand new fr (yes i know i should have known better lol) and after i cleaned it, sprayed the whole interior with the stuff. the paint sealant and the dash wipes are brill too, alloy wheel spray waste of money.
