May be getting Weitec Hicon Gt coilovers for my Leon soon.
Anyone know if they are any good?

They are produced by KW but unlike the Eibach Inox Kit (which are KW V1's) the used materials for Weitec are cheaper.

Basically they are the KW V1's but without the stainless housings (and from what I've heard they are a bit softer and more for street use only).

A guy that owns a set told me that the quality is good but service/warranty is notoriously bad. Seeing the small price difference with KW I would go for the V1.

I am on eibach springs right now and my tires rub a bit during maximum attack driving plus the springs don't give a good ride.

It is to my understanding that the coilovers will allow me to raise the car slightly and eliminate the tires rubbing while improving ride comfort and improving the handling. Am I correct?

That is a big question. Most coilovers start at -35 mm max and some can lower up to 60 mm (outside that range the shocks reliability and/or comfort will suffer). Rubbing often is caused by the wrong wheel offset/bad geometry settings.
Depending on de schocks/springs you choose the comfort may become better but with most the suspension will be stiffer.
For certain is that a quality coilover set is always a better choice than just springs since your dampers wheren't designed for lowering/stiffer springs and at best they are only for optical reasons.
