Hi guys, both front springs have snapped on my coilovers. I've fitted an entire new set as it was the cheaper option.
My question is, is it worth buying 2 new springs and selling them or selling them as they are? Also what sort of price should I be looking at?

It's not the helper springs unfortunately. I was quoted £150 + postage for replacement springs. Is it going to be worth it?

I bought the car with them already fitted. They are the old colours (yellow springs, green dampers) so I'm guessing that they had been on the car a while. Plus there was no receipt for them.
All of the dampers work fine and other than the broken front springs they seem to be in good condition.
What sort of price should I ask for them? Someone at work offered me £50. Is that a fair price?

If dampers work and just 1 spring needs replacing tyatsva bargain... Faulkner etc will make custom springs however you want them for a decent price

D Faulkner would also be my suggestion, custom made springs. Had them make a set for my Ibiza and never looked back!

They may not necasarily be as old as you think. I know of another forum member who had an issue with his rear weitec springs. He got some replacement ones under warranty but the warranty ones are yellow not green to match his fronts.
