alot of people weld a bracket on the strut to make it mount , quite common on the golf mk4 forum when the doing the audi tt front running gear conversion !

So far so good. Just as comfy as standard suspension without the wallowing about in the corners lol. It's not as low as I thought it would be either but the only other way lower is coilovers.
