Wilko

Badge snob
Finaly got the 2l run in with the owens turbo, and was at stealth for an oil change, so thought it'd be rude not to run it on the dyno.

Crap phone photos unfortunately.
It now flat spinds 3rd on anything but a dry surface, and strugles for traction in 4th.
80-120 < 5s.

Big thanks to INA for the parts, stealth for the engine build, and Nick K for the mapping.

Yes bill it does. Half a bar by 3200, a bar by 4000, full boost low 4000s. Don't know where it hits full boost as I was too busy hanging on.
Boost is set at 24lb which it holds to 8k.
Plenty left in the timing, but after recents mishaps we decided to keep it ultra safe.

Just needto source a new jabba mani now as the old one finaly cracked all the way through yesterday. It's been badly cracked for over 2 years now, so it was inevitable realy.

i read jabba warrantied their manifold, so worth a punt maybe

this is owens gt30, what equivalent a/r is it do you think?

Great numbers. Hope for under slung manis. What inlet manifold/throttle body? MAF size?

Would recommend the JBS mani - same fitment as the jabba, but judging by your avatar, pehaps not an option.

except its waiting for its new Jabba manifold I think - old one finally expired beyond acceptable I hear

2ltr spool and torque must be nice

they make around 420-430fwhp on subaru's on DD.
Which would equate to 420-440 atw on awesome's dynojet.

Comparison of yours Wilko and the polo

2ltr edges it up to low 3krpm then turbos spool and provide the rest
surprisingly close given polo is stock bore, stock cams, smallport etc
Seems to spool up and produce earlier too, and smoother plot.

Intestingly close.
