Purchased my Welly cooler setup last night as I actually discovered the kit I bought was restricting flow rather than improving it! So I've bought all the parts I need to do my own custom setup. Cost wasn't too bad tbh its just the silly things like the take offs for the n75 and DV that adds cost aswell as the map sensor tube, that was 70 quid just for those 3 parts. Ive gone with a big core from creations motorsport with all the silicone tubing from ASH hoses the core has 76mm inlet and outlet but I've gone for 2.5" pipework as that will be more than sufficient for what I need.
I think all in was about 350 quid delivered and I will fit it all myself. Wish me luck haha

What set up did you have before and how did you find out it was restrictive?

I ordered the toyosports one but only has 57mm inlet and outlet with 57mm pipes and read up that best results are with the bigger core and 2.5" piping. Apparently the smaller pipes are more restrictive than stock!

i think mine is 2.5 cold side and 2.25 hot side. I believe thats a good balance as the ko3s can get laggy with big IC pipes, prob like 3" upward
