I have a UK (RHD) 2017 Seat Leon Mk3 with a wet drivers footwell. Having researched this site I have checked all the common usual spots for water ingress. However when checking these places and the area immediately around them it's bone dry (The carpet and the underlay). The wet patch feels like its just infront of the drivers seat on the left site towards the centre coloumn but further back than the AC drain pipe.

  • I have checked the AC drain pipe and that is bone dry.
  • I've checked the driver door speaker seal and poured water in to verify that the water comes out of the appropriate drain holes in the door and they're not blocked.
  • I've also sealed the drain hole under the scuttle and the footwell is still getting wet.
  • All the door seals look fine and no signs of damage.
Are there any other common places I need to check? Is it possible its leaking from underneath the car? It just seems odd that the part that is getting wet is further back than where all the usual common leaks are.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.
