What are the best conrods to go for..?

I have read alot about Pauter Rods and Scart Rods

Which are better and who supplys them..?

Scat for me. Cheaper than pauter as well but depends on the type of power you want really.

Someones selling Scat rods in the for sale section for a quality price.

Can anyone confirm if they have had to have their scat rods machined after purchasing them. If heard that on some the tollerance with regards to the gudeon pin fitment can vary. Some guys in the US mention them being slightly too tight.
