That's a nice quality photo - do you mind me asking what you used to take it?
I'll chip in on depth of field that would suggest not a full frame DSRL. Probably going to be a posh camera phone or posh small sensor camera. Lot of mega pixels going on there.

Paddles... hmm I'll behave 🤣. Still everyone to their own. I dont use them but then you dont race with a diesel.

Why not paddles on a Diesel?

I had them on my 2.0L TDI 140 Yeti (tuned to 185) for best part of 10 years and they proved invaluable for spirited driving, as the DSG in Sport was too sporty (wanted to rev the engine too much) but in Drive could be too lazy and lacking control.

I just put my foot down and it shifts but only on roundabouts to get your spot. Normal mode. DSG 7 speed, 2.0 TDI.... take your foot off and let it slow back down. Normally accompanied to, you dont need to drive this fast... but if you brake whilst it's on a turbo boost the DSG has to decide what you are doing, least in my old Altea. Ateca diesel DSG is a lot faster thinking about what you want to do. So stab when you want to shift and foot off to resume your normal speed. Works for me. Anyhow we have to drive at 20mph round here... my excuse.
