What are the FR 17" alloys like in the flesh?

Having owned a MK1 Cupra with the million spoke alloys, I have to say that anything that is easy to clean is a bonus as far as I am concerned.

Good news, managed to get mine changed to the 18" performance alloys before the cut-off. Also good news the car is, as I type, on a boat of the coast of Portugal. The dealer has real-time tracking of the car's location.

For whatever reason it's being dropped off up near Newcastle, dealer expects it to be delivered next weekend or early next week.

Will have come through Tyne Dock. Mine was on the same boat, and I should be picking it up Monday (had to wait for number transfer to go through).

Picked up the wife's FR on Saturday - I think the 17s are fine...

The ride is firm but comfortable and this is a family runaround. Turn back the clock 20 years and if it had been me I'd have wanted the 18s!
