Exhaust wise, that will give me something a little more free flowing, but i dont want it loud?

The choices are:

Milltek
Blue Flame
APR
Remus (sp?)
Super Sprint
and then i think mongoose and a few others do stuff.

All will sound a little louder but it dpends what you class as loud

power flow, mine is a 2 1/4 system (original is 2 1/8 so is bigger than std)
cat back with baffle and backbox, noisier than std but not loud at all. 300-350 fitted depending where you go.

well all aftermarket exhausts iv had on prevous cars have been loud, i dont want everyone hearing me coming down the street lol

just wondered if race cats or anything were an option

HMMMM hard one to call then as mine doesnt make much extra noise when driveing until you drop you foot but wheni return home late and theres no one around it does seem very loud. I can hear it when i was kipping next door at the back of the house (car on my drive with zorst facing the house) and it was loud

yer, blueflame will be louder than those two, mongoose systems are sh*te, magnex will be quiet but ive never seen much in the way of performance out of their systems

remus ar ok, but expensive and have to be imported

id say supersprint.

are you going cat back? de cat?

turbo back?

i had a supersprint cat back on my leon cupra, it had a very nice but suttle sound.
think there is also a link to this on the front page of this site in the mods section.

you may need to research more if you intend to do more than a cat back system in order to check compatability as im sure not all manufacturers make turbo back / down pipe systems.

Steve, Let me know what you decide to get, I may come down with you - I wanna "zorst" aswell but with so many options I'm never sure what to get!
