Pirineos Gray

My last car (Nissan) was metallic black which when washed and leathered looked fantastic and when the sun shone the metallic sparkles shone. Also had a Honda with black metallic paint and the same. Right though, after few miles every bit of dirt shows.

Haha the rain we've had this weekend has done the job for me. As lazy as it sounds I never clean it because it's back like that within a few days. I keep the inside spotless though

Was this a version of acid rain which ate the dirt but not the paint? It cleaned mine as well. Was going to clean the wheels only today but I'll do that one evening this week maybe - its a (necessary) job I hate.

My car will hopefully be red, put a deposit down on an 2016 1.2tsi SE (tec pack), dsg. With downgraded 16" alloys (my choice for comfort). Test driving it tomo, if I buy it, I'll post a pic.
On the colour front, red is slightly easier to maintain than black. I've had experience of cleaning my wife's previous black car for over 2 years (RCZ). She also had a red one, once. My first red car. Where's the wax?.....lol.
