What does FR mean

I have been asked a few times what does FR stand for on my TDI leon and have had to say i don't know. I was wondering if anybody on here knows what it stands for

Cupra = Cup Racing

Interestingly enough one of the salesmen when I was test driving the FR and Cupra didn't even know what they stood for. Can't remember what he said for FR but it wasn't Formula Racing.

Well spotted !!!!! Nope... not mine... its a picture from our intranet site, from one of our spanish plants (Martorell) where we make the dash that goes in the Leon. Cars not mine either... (avatar pic is tho)..

i was going to say fucing rapide too but yes is formula racing and cup racing my dealer told me when i asked (thats the good thing to know the owner and he is a seat fan in the hearth)

Last time I was at SEAT they told me they've changed it from Formula Racing to Factory Racing to make it more reflective of the touring car connection.
