I've been wondering for a while now, what does the symbol below the time mean? I've looked through the manual and can't find anything about it. Not that it really matters, call it OCD or whatever, but I can't bare not knowing!!

Thank you very much, seems so obvious now, I think they are the same as when selecting the mode aren't they? Cheers Deathjam

I've just played about with vcds on mine so it displays the mode in the fis whenever you change it. Its now also changed normal modes display on the infotainment to a pic of a road instead of being plain,?? As it shows that, I'm now looking yo turn the orange mode light off.

That would be handy having it show in the FIS. I only have the Carista dongle and app and unfortunately that isn't an option with it. There is loads more i would like to do after reading threads on here that just isn't possible with Carista.

It doesn't display all the time in the fis, only when changed it comes up with a message to sport selected or normal selected then dissappears again.

It's had for some reason meant that the description of each mode has disappeared on the driving mode menu though and just displays 2 blank boxes?

How strange, I've no idea how VCDS works but is there no way to restore to default?

I can always switch it back but the I prefer to see the normal mode symbol than the description, I know what each mode does anyway. By having the symbol shown means that I have an excuse for another play about and turning the yellow light off the mode button so it's red like all the rest all the time.
