is that a the atmosthic one. dont know wich one i should go for.
1) the1 iwich make the wooshing sound
or
2)the 1 wich dont make hardly any sound.

The Standard D Valves are also good, you dont need to service them either unlike the Bailey and Forge valves. and if you've got an induction kit it will make a noise.

u can hear it when u have no music on or when u rev it up. got a K&N on it at the mo but its crap as its back and full of crap. got a viper kit that i ant had chance to put on yet. some said about blocking one of the pipes up on the dump vale and that will do the same as the woosh one but cheeper.

But have you come across any of the new style standard valves !!! They are now reinforced with a steel/aluminum cap on top of the diaphram which makes them alot more efficient and less prone to failure. I do have a bailey motorsport valve aswell. I was just tryin to help the fella out in terms of cost/saving money.

yes a blow off valve its not just japanese you can use them on fords volvos a number off cars just not on the newer 1.8t but you could use them on the early mk4 golfs gti 1.8t

so the bov are the ones that make the woosking sound then??so they dont work with the 1.8T
or if i get a Bailey or Forge that whooshing will that not work. all my mate said i should get on but theres some cars that have them on that should if u know what i mean.

BOV is simply another term for Dump Valve, lol!

Get a re-circ i haven't read into why the wooshy type are bad, but as far as i'm aware they are.

I rotated my 007p this weekend and it gave it a nice squeak/whistle when on full boost. I have an open filter setup too.
