Actually you can go stage 2 with just a bigger downpipe and sports cat providing the TIPs ok. If you dont run a FMIC youll lose power especially once the weather starts warming up but its doable without.

The above gave me 242bhp with a decent custom map. :)

Don't get too caught up on roller figures mate they can vary massively. It's great for checking the power delivery and the torque curve though so as long as that's looking good then happy days :)
 
I was thinking in mine the power tails off quite early glad this is normal looking at that. I just need to learn to drive a turbo I think :whistle:

But yes, I agree, the dyno lottery can be a big factor. Personally I am more interested in the torque curve shape and peak than peak bhp but this thread is called "what figures from your Stage 1 LCR guys?"
 
264 bhp/269 lbs Amd stage one,uprated coil packs,k&n open cone,heatshield,n249 bypass and Milltek cat back non-res exhaust still adapting but was really pleased and my mpg has really improved.

Run on V-power also. :D
 
When my car was stage 1 Custom Code it pulled 281 bhp but very low torque at 250 ft/lbs. Now, i was told by the tuner that the car pulled very very well for a stage 1, he was shocked it wasnt stage 2. My car has always been fast, but down on torque. If you ever saw my graph print out my boost/torque curve was soooo flat, it was a pleasure to drive on the road.

Now i have Revo stage 2 Linear and this car MUST be pushing on 300 bhp. I will be getting the V3 manifold soon hopefully so it will be well past 300bhp.

I have driven in 300bhp cars and mine feels just as fast/faster than them.....but as i was worried about rods i pulled the boost back to 5. Its still faster than my stage 1 but when that manifold goes on, and boost goes up i hate to think what it will be like.

Regular servicing using excellent parts, excellent mods and 99 fuel will provide you with a quick car.

It is a bit strange your torque was so low compared to your bhp but every map/car is different.I've followed your r/r as your cupra R is one of the best examples,I know there are lots of people running standard rods etc.on 300 lbs and over but is it a risk worth taking?:confused: maybe investing in rods could be your next mod that will maybe put your mind at rest and you will then be able to unleash the full potential of your beast :D?Just my opinion but I would hate to see all your hard work go to waste but at the same time would like to see what figures you pull bud as it must be immense :D

Well funny you say that. I have ordered my rods, piston rings, bearings, bolts, phenolic gasket, head gasket, timing belt kit etc etc etc and I been told 2 weeks. (been waiting 3-4 already) so trust me everything is in hand.

I want the manifold too as I want the full potential of this car.

I have looked at the manifold also...but before I go stage 2 my main priority is the FMIC,downpipe and decat Then I will be happy not really looking for 300 bhp as not sure funds will allow everything that comes with it,I would be happy with 280-290 bhp.

7 years old,mines 9 years old lol looks like we have started off the OAP clutch group lol hahaha :p

Yeh I wanted to go too, but as my car had all the boost turned down I wouldn't of got what I was expecting, plus wheels need a refurb, I would of felt like a numpty!!!

Once the engine is done she will be complete to the level I wanna take her. Don't want it to be undrivable. I willbe happy on 300-310 with manifold. Then a few tidy ups (bumper front and rear etc) and she will be completed.

As you say total money pits, and if I had a few more brain cells maybe would of quit this earlier but fook it. Wanted to see the car on an aggressive stage 2 with forged internals and track competent. Think she nearly there.

I do miss the social meet thing a lot, so wanna get back into this :)

Standard exhaust still? Got a fmic? 3" TIP? If not that figure seems about right mate.

No got milltek cat bac non res,no I happy with the figures and car but earlier in the post I put the wrong torque figure so was just updating lol.
