I managed to get my hands on the lhd gauge holder from Seat (very last one).

Anyway decided to get rid of my cd player (save weight ) because I started the car on the weekend and the lil speakers in the dash board can't be heard very well!

I fitted auto meter oil pressure and volts gauges and modded them to fit the Seat gauge holder (filed the black dail off them) cost me £40 each as well

Anyway, getting a DIN pod mount to go where my cd player was only thing is there are 3 holes...... I'm getting a new oil pressure and volt meter gauge but need a 3rd gauge now?!?

Water temp is on the clocks and the oil temp can be seen on the VDO display so........ What else could be helpful to know?

i was thinking this. fuel pressure? or i would go oil temp again instead of flicking on the mfa

Yea I was thinking that but I know the mfa is pretty spot one from what i was reading into them before

I can't think of a useful one to fit, other than perhaps a secondary coolant gauge. The standard one doesn't give that much information - either too cool, just right or too hot.

Or, you could look at it as a perfect opportunity to add some forced induction. Then you can have a boost gauge ;)

boost is for gays! :headhurt:

n/a all the way for me, my friend :p

That is a good idea mind cause it's not very good, sits half eay if to raises then get off the track lol

im getting 3 in the din slot on my G60 needless to say one is Boost :) is it easy enough to wire up oil pressure guage.

i the volt one i assume goes to an ignition feed maybe the redundant radio feed?

by wideband you mean air to fuel ratio gauge??

Thought you can only have wideband if you have a wideband lambda sensor?

Yeah air/fuel gauge

Most of the more expensive gauges come with a wideband lambda sensor included, my vems came with wideband and egt sensor but cost about £265, good bit of kit though

Im thinking of going wiv what crezz and stu said... oil temp, I know the mfa has one but one other thing that would be useful when out on a track day is how long have you been out for.

So display the trip timers on the mfa and then I can monitor oil pressure, temp and water temp (standard dash one) with the gauges and see how long i've been out.... instead of waiting till I see a high reading on the oil temp and think "mmmm time to go in now"

I hate rainy days, gives you time to think of silly details lol
