i took the pipe off and some water came out...?

(i'm thinking it's water from condensation due to replacing the crankcase breather pipes with silicone pipes that prob aren't very good)

to confirm, that red thing i've circled is what i'm looking for, not the pipe i'm pointing at :)

cool. trying to find out why my car is sometimes down on power. maybe not this then

- new maf sensor (bosch item from eurocarparts)
- new coils (changed free by Seat)
- serviceable items have been done recently- filters/ spark plugs/ oil change
- coolant temp sensor (oem)
- thermostat
- i had a split in the upper crankcase breather pipe and replaced that with some (admittedly flimsy) silicone hose.

no engine codes
i dont have vag-com

sometimes its quite sluggish when you accelerate. i can turn engine off, wait a couple of minutes, fire it up and it will fly.

no, just the upper and lower breather pipes. are there other pipes that deteriorate?
