is there anywhere to get this cheaper ? also is this everything i will need to polish the car ?

I also have dodo juice hard candy wax will i need to use that after i have polished it with the above kit or will the above kit come with everything ?

Also what will i need to prep the car i plan to snowfoam then do i need to claybar it ?

Cheers

In regards to the kit I think its a good started one, you can get it cheaper I think from the cleanyourcar website but it might vary on what comes with it. Baring the washing and drying and waxing part I think it comes with just about everything that you will need

In terms of prep it depends if you have a snowfoam lance, if so that then wash and dry followed by clay bar and then make sure the surface is clean before polishing. Thats what I do myself anyway but I have only recently got a cheap orbital polisher which I acquired for free, polishing will depend on how swirled your paintwork is in terms of the pads and which polish is used and if needed before the final glaze polish and wax

Good kit to start with, altho you can get cheeper kits with same polisher.

Get a cheeper one as you can always add to it, iv just used the 3M hexilogic pads, worked very well with Lime Prime for a little cut with a nice glaze. This is only because i blitzed the car about 4 months ago

emailed tim @ clean your car and he recommends :

The DAS-6 PRO is the best of the dual actions, sonthat would be a good
choice.

The Menzerna polishes are all abrasives, just different grades so you'd
still need to use your Dodo after it. Finial Finish is just the name for the
finest polish.

If you haven't done it before I'd consider getting this kit:

The pads are a little bit softer and also more durable than the Menzerna
ones. The actual polishes are the same:

That looks a very good kit mate. what colour you car? mine black and it looks amazing for a bout 10min after youve done it.

Also with the wax, put a coat on then another the next day if you can, just adds a bit more protection, plus if you wash regularly it brings back the same lovely finish.

That's the exact kit I got at Xmas and I think it's really good. Polishes are different levels of polish/scratch remover. I'd recommend it. I also got the dodo juice supernatural machine stick. Very good.

Which kit did you get ?

Will look really good in red once its done. No probs mate, have fun, and its all about practice. Did mine on sunday, only the 5 time iv used it and already its coming out alot better than my first attempts.

The polisher, pads and mezerna polishes. The one in the link I think. Just been out doing my sisters 1 series, only managed the bonnet before the rain came on but it honestly looks like glass. Amazing the difference the machine polisher makes.
