I have recently replaced the passenger side wiper linkage as I had the nut shear off that attaches the wiper arm to the linkage, and I figured that was the simplest solution.
Anyway, stupidly I threw away the sheared off nut in the time between the breakage and replacing the linkage, so I don't have one that fits and not to sure about nut nizes etc. I've measured the threaded spline at 7.5mm but as far as I know (and as google proves) there isn't a M7.5, so I guess this is VAG being awkward.
Anyway, if anyone know where I can get one or a part number etc that would be great!!
I'm going to have a good look at the drivers side one this afternoon and see if I can glean any useful info or measurements from that (lets hope it doesnt shear! xD)
