Under the bumper/wing on the off side (drivers) There is what looks like an air box (even though i know its not), and its leaking a bit of oil, anyone know what it is?

The car is a X reg Leon TDI SE 110

Cheers!

hmmm? I always thought intercoolers were radiators not airbox type thingys?

did it look like the one on the left?

To be honest not really but then again its under the bumper/wing so you acnt really see all of it

From what i can see, it looks like an airbox, and where the short rubber pipe is, its leaking oil, not dripping mind, just leaking...

It comes off a link pipe that near the turbo, and then runs down the side of where the cambelt is, and come down past the headlight.

My main concern is that its leaking oil, so does this mean my seal has gon in the turbo?

Seems to pull very well still though...

whip it out & drain it - it's the SMIC for sure. just means that the turbo has leaked some oil (they all do)
