Wheel alignment/tracking values for the Tarraco Xcellence (19" - 235/50/R19)

Does anybody know the wheel alignment/tracking values for the Tarraco Xcellence (19" - 235/50/R19)?

After changing the rims/tyres the tracking seems to be a bit off.

Any help appreciated.

I can get the settings from work.
who is going to be doing the adjustment on your car? Because if they don’t have the settings on there machine I’d probably steering clear if I was you.

That would be great as I have the report. I use my local auto centre and they have been very good.

The actual machines do not have any settings for the Tarraco/Kodiaq/AllSpace as they are held secret as if it was a matter of national security by VAG.

We went through all the models and there is nothing for any of the camera-equipped ones.

Seat dealer once gave me the Altea ones since they were all set up wrong on the first production run. Then sent me off to Protyres to get it fixed where they took all their cars too. Became my trusty piece of paper. Those VAG centres that do the all important 4 wheel alignment lane assist cameras after front screen glass change will have it.

Btw it was the splay angle on the rear wheel whatever that is called was wrong on the first Alteas produced. That's where you look at the back of cars and see the wheels tilt.... which they are suppose to do... toe think it's called. They got that angle wrong.

In the Spanish forum a poster shared the 4-wheel drive DCC values (see below), does anybody know whether the front wheel values are the same as the front-wheel non-DCC cars?

You would think so surely.

Protyres didn't give me any issues on alignment when I changed to Michelin All Season with lane assist on the car, although they fitted the pads the wrong way round, left right, so the local Seat dealer told me and reversed them for me, although I did pay for that to get it done and out of the way. I guess tyre places have their own settings they pass around for the equipment they use. Ateca will be the same as the Karoq. The DCC alignment question will be the same... anyone ?.

Got a link to the places with the VAG approved equipment. I know my Seat garage I bought the car off were very interested in where the local machines were 😂. Seat were late to the lane assist calibration party.

As for the data you can commercially buy it;


Probably that VAG want you to use their centres but there are also independent ones. Standard tyre places as long as you dont bend anything can get by with the settings they have.... if they have them. As you said they don't seem to be published. Their calibration equipment should have the settings stored in them. Going back to my old Altea Protyre had them but I always said use the ones I was given by the Seat dealer. That was a printout off their internal system. I never had this conversation with the Ateca and all was good.

OK answering my own question again here, downloaded all the repair manuals from Erwin and life has become much much easier:

Which is all good if one has the reference values but these are sadly missing from Erwin (the assumption being that the workshop has the necessary specialist equipment). A bit of mixing and matching with my Spanish friend's report and we have the final values.

Aaaaaaand result. Finally, as you can see with the new wheels alignment was off across the board. The rear left camber is marginally off but it is within tolerance.

Toe values are in mm so -0.1 means .1 of a mm which is essentially 0. Happy as Larry and my steering is finally dead straight.

At last. I reckon they get passed around on closed groups, so some tyre places have them others don't.
All the info (for the VAG group at least) are on the respective brand's Erwin site (costs around 9 euros for an hour's access which is plenty enough to download all the workshop manuals one needs).

The problem is that these are directed towards VAG workshops and assumptions are made re availability of tools/equipment so a bit of research to put everything together is required as in this case.

The Erwin material is always good to have. Always tell people to download it 😍. It's good to have but can be sketchy, assumes a given level of knowledge. Like buying the Hayes manuals of old even though you aren't going to do any jobs. The service manuals on what needs changing and when is useful. Here minimum Seat services can miss off stuff that needs doing. They had never changed my 4Drive fluid in 5 years. Constructed an A4 sheet now. Problem with Seat Service Plan it's geared for the PCP people to tide them over a few years, not long term keeping of the car.

On services now we are all counting our pennies, a few months back Seat was selling 4 and 5 years plans up front which were not available in dealers, only the 2 / 3 years ones being sold in dealerships. Poke about on there once your plan is out you might find better deals than in the dealership. Went for a 5 years plan bought up front.

I am going for their "All in" plan when my service plan expires in Sep. With all the problems I have had the extra 2 years of warranty will come in handy. The rest is just what I would spend anyway for servicing and road assistance (I travel a lot in Europe).

I left the warranty bit of mine out... I'll cough up as things fail but bought in bulk upfront on the maintenance. Fingers crossed I haven't had any warranty type of work in the last 5 years, it's been good, just the initial miss build of the heated mirror not plugged in correctly and they built it, without the wireless charging mat. Can live without that. Got three years free service plan as compensation for that one.
