I have a FR Tdi and only done 9k miles but got a 'wurring' noise coming from the back, it sounds as if the bearings have gone - has anyone experienced anyhting similar?

it might be something to do with the wheel alignment. ive had the same problem. had the wheel alignment done and the noise was gone. just noisey tires now. i think theres a few threads regarding this. try doing a search, it might bring something else up.

Don't mention the bridgestones :censored:
They don't give enough grip, they're noisy because of there construction, only done about 7k and a bit of uneven wear on mine

Going to change to GoodYear F1 GS3 or Yokohama parada spec-2 next. They must be better than the bridgestones for which i have to say are absolute sh**e [:@]

My Leon does this also, and it's in the dealers today being looked at along with a few other faults. One if their tech guys come out with me in the car and he was able to hear the wurring noise that resonates throughout the car, and is even worse should you open the window.

At least they can't deny there's a fault! He said they are taking pics of the cars back tyres (Sending them to Seat UK) which are almost entirely smooth from the inside edge going outwards (Something I never noticed), as i thought it was a wheel bearing issue too. Shows how much i know!

I also brang up the 4 rusty wheel hubs that you could write your name in, squealing front brakes (Even the lightest tap on the brakes and it's squealing), and they are repairing the handbrake that DOES NOT hold the car no matter how hard it is apply, and replacing 2 of the air vents in the dash, as nothing ever comes out of them because the lever you slide to them is broken.

This is by far the worst Seat of the 3 i've had. I'm considering re-arranging the lettering at the back of the car to say "C R A P" rather than "C U P R A"
