Oil temp is a coont to fit , just below the dip stick there is an Allen key bolt about 5mm you have to undo that and screw the new one in , it is there keep looking you will find it but it's so hard to get to

Cheers, one more question though does the sensor stick out lower than the sump? Ive got my car lowered about -50mm and I don't want it catching on speed bumps or whatever.

if you search on ebay you will find temp sensor oil filter adaptors basically an oil filter housing extension that has a sensor probe hole in it that you screw on as you would the filter then the filter mounts the normal way to the spacer thats the way id do it.

This is true but the best place to put the sensor is in the sump this has been discussed in depth in other threads, basically if you put the sensor on or around the oil filter housing the gauge will read the temps where they are at their hottest, where as the sump temps are more balanced, as the oil has passed through the cooler, the best place to mount the sensor would be in the block but there is no where to put it (afaik) and i dont fancy tyring to drill and tap a hole.
