Where is my post count going down??

Just a general question really, before xmas i know for a fact i was on nearly 3000 posts (kind of a mini celebration etc) then logged on a s normal last week and i was down to just under 2000. Logged on today and its 1910.......what the hell is going on??????

Bit of database tidying I would guess. Mine have also dropped, I think, as it doesnt really matter to me.

That would not effect it as posts in General Off-topic don't go towards your post count anyway.

However, I have noticed the TDI section has now gone so, if you posted in that, you post count would go down.

It hasn't. It's just more appropriately positioned

DOLBY - your count may have reduced if you posted in sections that we'd archived out of sight (such as redundant sponsors) - which I've recently purged
