that seems fine.......its the normal place to locate your cold air feed anyway, a few people on here have two air feeds on theirs.....one located from the front aswell and they seem to think it makes a difference. ive just got the feed from the wing and its good enough.

it probably is performing better with the sheild on but like you said, it does sound a bit mean having it just open. other option is cai which from what i can gather, is a different sound again...

lol. you still get a slight darth vader sound but also a chatter aswell, i found that it is louder than my 007p, plus the fact your running more boost than me so it could be slightly louder still on yours? alot of money for the valve though.

in my own personal opinion, i would buy one if i still had the original plastic bosch dv, i think that its alot of money for something that doesnt sound too much different from the 007p or baileys, if i were faced with the normal retail price of £140 ish then i wouldnt get one. if it wasnt for the fact that i got offered it at pretty much half the retail value then i wouldnt have one now.

Although, the engineering that has gone into it is outstanding! it is fully adjustable with regards to pressure sensitivity and does come with a nice little screw on blanking plug to convert back to fully recirc whenever you want to.
