which altea`s dont have dpf

Hi all just wondering which atea`s have the dpf filter(on diesel`s)as partner is wanting a diesel but not for long runs(only occasionaly)think the stylance 105bhp does`nt have one (if wrong please correct me)

hi i own the ALtea Fr which has the DPF and only do short runs and not had any major problems as of yet the light has come on a couple of times but to rectiy this i drive for 30miles at 70mph with the revs at 2k and within 10-11miles the DPF has regenerated itself but i do 30miles to give it bigger clean out hope this helps

i agree but you can have them removed and remapped so you wont get that problem and get a little more mpg

i have a 2.0tdi dsg on a 06 plate no dpf , thank goodness, not sure about newer cars , there must be a fitted from date

my mrs 07 polo has one & the light is always coming on
