Im thinking of getting a decat for my 2003 Ibiza TDi sport

The car already has a 2.5" bore system from the cat back as well as a FMIC and a remap...

Do i go for the milltek downpipe with 100cell race cat for £380 fully fitted?

or just get a decat pipe welded in for around £100 and leave the standard downpipe?

Opinions please........

Thanks

To be honest i wouldn't bother with millteck i'm sure it's a gr8 quailty but for 3-5bhp increase and torque that'll make your clutch slip is it worth it?

380 thats says 5bhp £76 per bhp :(

decat 1-2bhp is it worth it? for less than 100 pound possibly. the 130 turbo spools up pretty well.

i was considering a few exhaust mods and prob now get just rid of cat tbh. £80

i wouldn't get rid of muffler. like the sound of my mine,

so basically get rid of cat and then if not happy allards do a big bore dp! £150

the standard downpipes are so restrictive its unreal my car was boosting about 19 to 20 on standard downpipe then i put the milltek on and right away it was hitting 21 psi

Is that the same on the TDIs (guessing your referring to the petrols, judging by your sig) ?

?? am I missing something here.. Cats are on the car for a reason... emissions So if you decat you are removing it completley... therefore won't it fail the MOT???

Sorry if I'm being dumb, but I only ever own 1 diesel and I never had an MOT done on it!?

i was meaning the size of the downpipe really helps as he mentioned just bypassing the cat and leaving the standard downpipe on!
