Iv been running 205's on my 16" cupra R wheels and the rubber iv got is pirelli P-zero nero's all round and not had any complaints so far wit them

ive got yokohama' s new s drive 195/45/16 w fitted to mine, they seem quite good so far, very good in the dry and not to bad in the wet for the price, like you i am still trying the area.

I'm of the same dilema at the moment. Been using Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 for the last couple of years - awesome tyres. But they are like rocking horse dung at the moment in the UK at 195 45 16 V size!

Other options are Proxes T1R and Pirelli Neros, but dont really want to compromise as I know the F1s are so good in the wet - testament to two wet track days with them.

Thoughts?

i'm on michelin PE2's at the minute and tbh i'm fairly impressed so far. was having a bit of a mess about late night on my own tying to push the limits of traction and tbh the traction won! even lift off oversteer didnt want to play without seriously spanking its arse before it kicked out!

Ok so no Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 in the country at 195 45 16! Well the only ones that are I cant get hold of - unless anyone else knows of anywhere?

Limits my options down to

Toyo Proxes T1R
Yoko S Drive
Pirelli P Zero Nero
Michelin Exalto
Maybe BF Goodrich G Force Profiler or Dunlop Sport 9000

I dont mind a soft tyre as dont do massive miles so they will last ok for me, but it must have the same dry and wet grip levels of a GSD3.

Thoughts ideas info?

Thanks

i normally buy tyres at the garage but looking at the online prices i think i'll be doing that instead!
How much do places like kwik fit charge to fit your own tyres onto alloys and then balance them?
