Which version of vag-com download..?

Right due to the problems ive been having with my car i just perchaced this cable off the bay and i am going to download the trial version of vag-com from the ross-tech website only thing is im not sure which version i need to download at as there is more than one does anyone have any idea

You want the 409 version for serial interfaces. Your cable drivers then make a virtual com port from your usb cable.

I use the alternative driver from here with mine

Oh also if you're running vista right click and "run as administrator". Mine crashes when not run as admin.
