Which Wiper Blades?

I know there's been a few threads on them, but i'm about to order some new blades and just after some suggestions. Now my questions are;

Standard wiper or the aero retrofit ones, which do people think are best? If the aero, which are best the Bosch or the Valeo. And finally are the 530mm & 475mm the correct size?

Thinking of these ones: http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/product_details.php?ProductID=262

Thanks

I've been using a pair of Bosch blades (Aero) for a couple of years on the front of my Cupra and have found them to be spot on (couldn't tell you the size off the top of my head though).

I've also been using a Halfords blade on the rear which should be avoided at all costs - makes a hell of a racket and does a p*ss poor job of actually keeping the window clear!!

I always use Champion wiper blades. Nice and cheap at about £10 for the pair and they do a bloody good job. They don't flash, and to be honest I don't really care cause I'm more intersted them doing a decent job of clearing the screen.

I got the valeo retrofit flat blades and dont like them
They clear the window fine but they miss bottom half of the outter passenger side and its really annoying.
Probably will go back to standard bosch ones soon

Would the golf full conversion to aero wipers sort of the problems with the passenger side section not wiping when with the retrofit aero wipers?

Just phone up your local VW stealer. Ask for the MK4 golf retro blades and bingo. £20 ish. I bought some and am well pleased...
Do the mk4 golf ones fit the Leon, thought you needed the whole arm etc, which is about £80. Or can you get a set of aero blades that fit straight on the Leon's arms?

Is the part number for the mk4 wipers #1J2 998 002 (CONVERSION)? If not anyone got a part number as i can order them through work tomorrow.

Also those with the golf ones, do they fit the passenger side properly or do they overhang as in the other golf aero wiper thread?

Cheers

If you get the retro-fit they're a straight swap. You're thinking of the mk5 arms, which are aero style wipers ;)

Rear blade wise?
Where can I pick up a rear blade that's any good on the high street?

Two options - the touran or the fabia rear wiper - both a clear upgrade from the standard fit model, depends which you prefer the look of. Around £20 should sort you out either - part numbers are on this forum - a quick search will pull them up.
