Whining noise on bocanegra

my mates booked his in at the dealers to be looked at in 2 weeks time and they did say they dont expect it to be the first one in for it ,i shal let you know the out come

Same as Danny when you back th epower off mine is like a rattle like something is not under load or a loose rattling noise. Noticed it a couple of times this week with the windows down on the car going over traffic calmers

Theirs no rattle with mine just the whining noise, usually under deceleration or at low speeds. If i can hear it in the car makes me think the car sounds pants to anyone i pass.

Nice sticker idea, best one I ever had was on my MK2 Golf and it just read "Jesus is my airbag"

I'm getting some made up at the mo. Like the original one's that you used to see on Honda's that said VTEC inside (a take on the computer 'Intel inside' logo) Only it'll say Supercharger & Turbocharger inside with perhaps a hiphened "&" ! That should put the JDM boys in their place.

my mates boc has been at the dealers for the last 3 weeks and eventually whining noise solved they have fitted a new oil pump as it seems it was that causing the noise, so now all of you who have this noise can go to the dealer and tell them whats doing it as it seems there are a few doing it.if this is a common problem i really think seat should recall the cars and fix it now they know what it is.

Its not the supercharger.

so the whining noise i get when im slowing down etc isn't the supercharger sorry im being abit dense been a long day lol

what my mate had to do was for me to take mine to the dealer at the same time and to let the mechanic listen to them both so he could notice the difference otherwise it just sounds normal to them.they then had his in stripped it down tried different things until they found the problem maybe this could be why some people are reporting that there car is using lots of oil.

I have the exact same issue, its like a sharp whistle?
If you stab the accelerator aggressively this " whine " will be louder.

My Boc was in the garage for 6 weeks and still never been resolved.
