basicaly ive had my Ibiza 1.4 for about 2 weeks now, and it seems to have developed a slight whistling sound. This occurs when the car is stationary and goes when i press the clutch down. Whats odd is my friend bought an Ibiza a month before i did, and his has had the same noise (also mk3 1.4) I dont belive its a clutch release bearing sound, as this whent in my mk2 polo and the sound in the ibiza is much higher pitched and.. wel.. not really bearingy sounding lol anyone have any ideas... just thought it may be common as me and a mate both have the same sound!
May have a pop at changing the clutch cable soon also, is this hard to do? and changed one in my old polo, but i know that some cars clutch cable can be a to get to.
