White cupras

I am new to this website and in the next month or so I am getting my Ibiza cupra sprayed Ibis white, the same colour used on the new S3. I was wondering if anyone has a white cupra, and if they do whether they could post some pics of it so I can see if it is going to look as lush as I think it is. I am going to couple the spray job with a set of 17" Lenso RS5s also sprayed in Ibis white. They are split rim effect so will have white centres with a mirrored lip. I have done the usual mods like a remap, forge splitter dump valve and straight through exhaust just fancied something a bit different from the Ovni yellow I have been sporting for a while now. I will post a load of photos once the transfomarion is complete. Any photos would be good, thanks.

cheers guys, I have seen one guys on here. But he has sprayed the rubbing strips white as well and I am thinking on leaving them as they are as I think it might help to break up the overall whiteness of it. He has a grey roof and mirrors with a black bonnet though so I guess that does that where as i just want the white clean look. Nothing too complicated just white on white wheels. I cant wait. How do I search for those guys mentioned above?? How does veryone feel about whit on the cupra, yay or nay???

That's Pete's ole gal. It was a carbon bonnet. I agree with leaving the bump strips standard, breaks it up nicely which is why i haven't done mine! What wheels have you got if you're planning on doing them white aswell? Could look a bit ott? But yeah, I'm feeling the white! if u do paint it white make sure u do just paint it white! dont spray the wing mirror base plates,roof,spoiler ect a stupid colour coz there is a fine line between it looking awesome and very tacky!!!

I like the sound of the white with white centres mate, should look really good, if you get a chance have a look in a recent edition of PVW, might find some inspiration in there.

No I am sprayin it all white. I have always been a fan of the simpler things on cars and keeping it subtle, so now I have the money I want to do it properly. The wheels I was thinking are Lenso RS5s, which are a simple 5 spoke design with a mirrored lip. I am quite excited about it right now, I hope it looks as good as I think it will.

Im one of the few that own a white cupra, nick barnes old one.
Its gives you and idea of looks although it is sporting some (IMO very chavvy) arches and sills. Am going to be getting them off but might just wait until early next year now so ill have some nice frsh paint for show season. also got a few more plans to add my own touches, just when funds allow lol.

Anyway, a few piccies to give you an idea......

Oh and i feel its my right as an owner of one of the few to say dont do it lol

I am definatly getting it sprayed white now. It looks properly nice. I would ditch the arches as well just keep the normal lines. I will be getting it done in the next few weeks so if your interested I will keep you guys up to date on the process.

if youre from plymouth that white car above was from there originally i think, but back when it was black with weird bumpers in it.

Weird, I guess that was back before I had mine. There seems to be a lot of cupras down here now actually. I think they are a much more afforabable alternative to most of the jap and french hot hatches around. Easily tuneable and quick. I dont seem to remember as many cupras around when I first got into cars.

Oh and just a random question does anyone know a good front mount to get and how much I would be looking for purchase and fitting. It might pay to get it done before the spray job as that could be a load more bodywork to get it in. Do you have to cut the bumper at all or can you squeeze it in without altering the front bumper??

dpends which one u go for mate..
i had the pro alloy one on mine off jabba. is fairly pricey but needed it for the IHI set up.
the fmic subject on this forum has been worn out sooo many times do a few searches ul see what ppl think

Cool thanks mate. I like the white on your old one. Was it a carbon bonnet? I am going for a more simple effect just all white with the bump strips left and white split rims. Hopefully it will be cool. I am still uncertain on which ways to go with the wheels but I guess you always worry before laying £700 down on something like that.

yer mate it was a carbon bonnet.. got it in a one off group buy. that lite tuned made for us.
wish wheels for the 350 with only 700!! haha
