When my LC 180 is first stared and Sitting there ticking over theres only a slight bit of white smoke coming from the exhaust which is very thin. If i rev it up theres quite alot of smoke usually abit thicker. Once the cars warm and been driven for a while its gone. But then when its warm the oil light keeps coming on. Ive checked for leaks and havent noticed anything as off yet but ive not been able to get underneath. Could it be a head or turbo problem?
Anyone had this problem?

Smoke? Or steam,,,,,,,,,,, like your breath on a cold and damp morning?

Hot exhaust gasses exiting through a cold metal exhaust into the cold air.

Does every other car in your street on a cold damp morning do exactly the same?

Oil light needs looking into though.

So you have plenty of oil in there, but the light still comes on?
Must be an oil pressure / flow problem. Unless you’re lucky and it’s a dodgy sensor!

Does it make any odd sounds when your oil light is on?
Common problems with oil pressure are the pickup pipe, VVT or pump

I wouldn’t drive it until it’s sorted, the consequences could be major.

Do let us know if you find the fault
