Will a Mk.4 Golf gear knob and Gaitor fit a LC

I have been looking at replacing my gear knob and gaitor as they are showing signs of wear now after 135000 miles. I have seen these two gear knobs from vagparts and want to know if they will fit my LC or not.

all gear knobs on the mk4 platform will fit apart from the 1.4 and 1.6, so basically and 1.8 gti etc will fit, the rline r32 will also

do a search for a beetle turbo gearknob, real oem looking and v.nice...

that r32 on is nice but says r-line on it, and you dont have an r-line...
