had two E46 coupes loved them both

first one E46 320ci topaz blue sand beige leather 6 cd fab car only a year old when I got it

second one E46 323ci steel blue metallic grey leather sports interior 6 cd loved that too

shame I wrote both off me being a bit to heavy on the loud pedal with rear wheel drive :(

but you have to love those straight 6 engines :)

Yeah i gotta admit i'm still getting used to it being rear wheel drive and actually having power in it :) I would have gotten a straight 6 but being my age i could just about afford the insurance on this :)

good choice of motor some of the dealers are d&cks but to be expected with the badge snobbery
just enjoy it
fortunately I know Frank Sytner who was the father of BMW in the UK so have always been well looked after but saying that there are some cracking main dealers who will treat you good.

if you already have sport suspension don't lower it as every hump will wreck the underside of the car :)

Will. Can't believe I've not posted in this yet! As I said before, Look sweet as. You got the front plate holder off yet? You know it needs it

edit: I won't feel too bad bearing in mind when you put the thread up

averages about 30-31mpg lol lucky if I hit 35, still worth it though :)
@ Owen I took the plate holder off the front with the plate stuck on the front and didn't seem right, looks better without a plate altogether but i'm not doing that lol

I'd say put up with the not-so-good look with the numberplate on, then take off whenever you park.... Thats my plan when the front bumper gets smoothed proper-like. Copying Arun and sticking magnets all over the place :D Also, if the desire took you, a square plate just above the n/s fog light would look good imo ;)

edit: This is the best pic I could find as a example :ban:

Major agreement on the bonnet.

I'm just dreaming up ways you could run with a plate, but can easily take it off for when its stationary :) You're right though, it is a minter. Did you attempt the drabs of snow we had or not bother? Always, always had a soft spot for the E46 coupés :)

it wasn't too bad in the snow actually if you were careful with it, but my works car park was untouched so entered it sideways all the way round and got stuck diagonally and though sod it i'll leave it there lol

really good choice!
Once you get used to an RWD you wont got back! I've been looking at 330ci m but I'll need space for a pram next year and the boot isn't big enough.
Enjoy it!!

Boots plenty big enough mate. We had the kids in the back one was a baby pushchair travel system in the boot and room for shoping you'd be surprised. That was in the 323 & 328ci m's.
