Wind deflectors

Has anyone else had problems fitting their wind deflectors on their mk4? I can get them in but have little metal clips that are meant to hold it in I assume but can't get them into the window channel... Any help would be great thanks

I've got the Heko ones.

Didn't bother with the metal clips and if I remember correctly they were still a very snug fit.

Once I did get them in, one of my windows refused to stay up. Had to put it up and down a few times before it moved the deflector just enough to stop it impeding the window.

So yeah, try fitting without the metal clips first.. You may find they hold perfectly well without them.

Yeah I tried putting them in without but they still wobbled a bit might do it again but put the window up and leave it then see if it will hold

I fitted the metal clips to mine but after about 2 weeks I noticed I had lost 2 of them somewhere, still sturdy though and my friend fitted Heko's to his ep3 and never used a clip about 2 years ago and they are still on
