Winding up coilovers?

Fitted my coilovers today, ran out of light to set the ride height. But whilst playing around ive found it really hard to wind up the collars. i know the spring is putting a resisting force on the collar, just wondering if anyones got any tips to make it easier. Cheers

Lots of wd40 or spray grease.

the c spanners are a PITA, I found I can wind the platforms up and down by turning the spring by hand

yeah i noticed that the spring was turning as im winding up. im just thinking the back is down about 15 mm lower than standard at the mo, and its really, really stiff already, dont know how im going to wind it up to - 60 mm!

Yeah loosen the platforms and grab the ****ers by the neck and twist the whole thing including the spring. Piece of piss really. Only use the c-spanners to tighten or loosen the platforms.
