probably snapped the 2 clips on the bottom of the window that attatch to the mechanism. not sure if you can get them seperate or as whole mechanism.

Go to the scrappies and get one out of a car there.

I broke the actual metal bit the handle goes on on my Polo, and had to get a whole new window mechanism, cost me £4. Took about 15 mins to fit and lots of cuts on my hands.

Need a new Electric window mechanism on my GTi, the little plastic bits that hold the window to the mechanism have broke so I can't use my drivers window any more.

patch b when you say mechanism do you just mean the bit the window crank fits onto.. cos my window pane is on the sliders and all just slips and doesn't go up so i'm thinking i did break the mechanism.

I think theres small grey plastic clips that hold it in the runner, they kind of shatter when frozen (or atleast did for me) Mine was lecy I had to get the whole regulater replaced, I guessed youd have to do the same, could be wrong.

I mean the whole lot, slidey rails and all, you can't replace seperate bits. As I said though, very easy to replace, just a bit sharp around where you have to remove the mechanism and put the new one in.

Just be glad you don't have a corsa C, was fixing my mates leccy window on his yesterday, they have a very strange way of working, lots of big cogs, and sliders that slide sideways not up and down. And you only have a tiny little hole to work through.
