I bought mine from a Scrap Yard. Paid £40 for the mechanism and carrier, beware, its not an easy job, takes quite a bit of time

I got mine from a shop called VW Teeside (www.vwgolfr32.co.uk), although ypu'll have to ring to get the right one, because they are predominantly VW parts. (And just for your information, a Golf/Bora one does NOT fit. The clips are the wrong profile)

They also have a shop on ebay. Search for "Toledo window regulator", I think mine was £75 delivered.

EDIT: Just found the exact one your looking for, £56 + £8.95 P+P

I had to do passenger side one whilst I was in Spain. It broke when I went to put the window up from a motorway Toll booth. Fun driving along at 80-90 with the wind blowing through the car. I got the part from a dealer over there and the whole window reg. and runners came to less than £30! I've also done it for a mates car here and the same part cost £65 from a VAG specialist. Rip off Britain...

Anyway in answer to your question, try a specialist shop as they'll be a bit cheaper than a dealer and they should have the up-graded metal window clips over the old plastic ones.
