Hey, I just got a 09 seat ibiza 1.2 SC in red and want to get the windows tinted like the standard cupra. I was wondering if anyone new the shades of each window? Is it just the back windows tinted or are the passenger/driver windows done too?

Thanks

just the rears properly tinted, the fornts and windscreen will have a slight tint to the glass, but not darkened at all.
no idea on the shade though, a light or medium smoke i'd imagine, it's your car so go for what you like?

Be very careful with what you put on drivers or passengers front windows, there is a legal percent reading ( can't remember what it is ) of the amount of light that can get through, just think if it was too dark and you are wearing shades it would be like driving without lights at night, and you could easily miss seeing something when turning out of junctions. Also if you get stopped and they check it, it's either take it off there and then or get towed!! Nothing is allowed for the windscreen, other than what the factory do.

Must let through 75% on side windows and 80% on the windscreen.
Remember that the standard glass already has a v. mild tint from the factory.

TBH I wouldn't dare put anything on the front, as oldtimer says, it kills visibility which is the key thing I like to have lots of, to the point where i'm still unsure about having the rear done because i'm not sure if I could live with the reduction.
